Imagine an alternate version of Earth where the planet’s entire mass is composed of water, forming a vast, boundless ocean world. Scattered across its surface are immense floating rock formations that orbit close to the water, remaining geosynchronous with the planet’s rotation. Each of these colossal rocks possesses its own localized gravitational field, creating unique environmental and physical conditions that distinguish them from the surrounding aquatic expanse.These floating rocks are bound together by colossal trees whose vast roots and interwoven branches lock them in place. This remarkable phenomenon leads to the gradual formation of stable landmasses, giving rise to immense continents, islands, and other terrestrial structures. Over time, the rotational patterns of these landmasses become synchronized, ensuring that they move in perfect harmony without colliding much like the countless satellites orbiting within Earth’s exosphere.
A prototype island is developed, featuring rock and vegetation formations sculpted in ZBrush. This project is part of the 3D Game Art course, specifically for the Modeling and Sculpting module, and is being undertaken alongside parallel learning of ZBrush to enhance skills in environment modeling and digital sculpting.
In this alternate world, humanity has evolved with the ability to glide gracefully through the air, much like flying squirrels. Within the context of a video game, players can interact with these evolved beings, exploring their unique culture, environments, and way of life through immersive gameplay experiences.
